This simple yet evocative assemblage art piece presents a worldly composition centered around an array of sculpted cigarette butts arranged in and around a gold-accented ashtray. Constructed using mixed-media and found objects, the sculpture features textured, fraying papers that mimic ash and cigarettes, resting atop a patterned geometric base with dark stained rings. Beyond its material composition, the piece serves as a commentary on the wealthy squandering resources and discarding the remnants without regret or consequence.
